  • Runner-up—$900,000
  • 3rd place—$600,000
  • 4th place—$450,000

  • 9th place—$100,000 (2 teams)

With over $500,000 at stake, the Challengers Finals for NA, EU, and APAC are scheduled for August 15-16. Go here for additional details about format, prizing breakdowns, and broadcast times.

The City Circuit tournament featuring fan duos representing CDL franchises will start bracket play on August 22 and conclude with the final at Championship Weekend on August 29. Go here for additional details about format, prize breakdowns, and broadcast times.

Call of Duty League Playoffs Controversy

The Call of Duty League Playoffs have kicked up debate the past 24 hours purely due to the prize pool breakdown in Challengers. There are those complaining that too many teams are involved in the split, with some people believing that less teams should make the cut, increasing the winnings of the teams that place higher.

Dallas Empire professional player Clayster touched on the subject. He makes a point many would agree with, that of the 24 challengers teams, only a limited amount would have made the prize pool cut in previous Call of Duty Championships formats. So this change, whilst spread across more teams, is actually an improvement and increase on past scenarios.
