Team SoloMid (or TSM) is one of the most recognizable esports brands out there, especially for gamers who first entered the esports realm with League of Legends. TSM has teams across ten games, including Fortnite, VALORANT, Apex Legends, Super Smash Bros, Rainbow Six and more. But who is at the head of this operation? The one calling the shots from the top is the one who has been doing it since the very beginning, and that is TSM Andy “Reginald” Dinh.
TSM Reginald or Regi is the founder of the organization, even before it was a team. Team SoloMid originally started in 2009 as a website focused on strategies and guides for League of Legends. In 2011, TSM fielded its first team in the LCS with Reginald playing Mid and as the team’s shot caller. After competing for two seasons in the LCS, Dinh retired from the squad to focus on coaching and eventually running the business of an esports organization.
His replacement in the mid lane was Soren “Bjergsen” Bjerg. Bjergsen, one of the best mid laners in the game, dedicated himself to TSM, sticking with the team for over six years. Bjergsen’s commitment to the team earned himself a position as Co-Owner of the organization. While he is still a player for the LCS squad, when his contract expires, it’s anyone’s guess what role he will take if he doesn’t decide to renew it.
